Jeffrey H. Roth, has over 28 years of experience representing clients in all aspects of real estate and co-op and condominium litigation as well as commercial and residential landlord-tenant law. He counsels shareholders, cooperatives and condominium clients, and owners and tenants in leasing and real estate transactions.
Mr Roth's court experience includes the successful representation of:
- Landlords and tenants in hundreds of commercial lease and real estate disputes, actions and proceedings in State Supreme Court, Civil Court, District Court and various Justice Courts.
- Landlords and tenants with issues involving Rent Stabilization, Rent Control and Loft Law coverage.
- Cooperative boards and shareholders in connection with litigation of issues involving proprietary leases, By-laws and House rules
- Landlords and tenants in hundreds of housing court cases including non-primary residence cases and nonpayment and holdover proceedings.
K. Joseph Lee, CPA
Mr.
Lee joined PKF in 2006 as a Senior Tax Manager and was elected a Tax
Partner on January 1, 2007. Prior to joining PKF, he had almost 10 years
experience in public accounting, including three with Ernst & Young
LLP and five with a national public accounting firm. He also spent four
years as a sales tax auditor with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance while studying for his Master's.
Mr.
Lee is a member of the American Instate of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He serves on the International Taxation Committee of the NYSSCPA.
Mr. Lee serves a variety of publicly-listed and privately-held clients, including the real estate (public and private REITs), financial services, co-operative and condominium housing, wholesale and retail, technology, and not-for profit sectors. He has expertise in partnerships, consolidated groups, multi-state taxpayers and international tax issues.
He consults on complex FAS 109 and ASC 740 issues, such as mergers and acquisitions, international operations and documentation requirements.
He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
